This evening I went to Chilis with my mom for supper. Gross, I know, but that is where she wanted to go. I don't mind Chilis too much, and they have some yummy drinks, which I planned to revel in, what with my new-found 21-ness and all. Well, my plan was nearly thwarted

In all fairness TABC states you have to card anyone who looks like they're under thirty. I card women just to make them laugh. However, that guy sounds like a real jerk alot of people are, they go on a power trip. I always say something to the effect of, "I feel like such a dork doing this, but may I see your ID please?" If we don't card at my resturant we get fired.

i get the carding part, carding is good. it was the way he looked at my ID that i didn't get. it was like he was going out of his way to be an asshat.

Plus, who am I kidding, I like to complain about things...
