Alright French fans

I've been absolutely in love with this song for years, but I have no clue what the girl's singing. Of course, it's in French. I could use something like Babelfish, but that's so inacurate it's laughable, so I charge you, speakers of Français, have fun with this one.

I don't have time to do a whole translation and check all the idioms now, what with the whole sneaking-posting-from-work; IM me a link later this week when I'm at home and I'll give it a more thorough prodding.

In general it's kind of a dreamy love song, starting at "Rainy days..." and ending at "I love him," though. Remind me later this week, like I said, and I'll give you something better. ;)

Oh man my french has gone down the tubes... I used to be fluent! It seems to be a lost love sort of song, a girl dreaming/remembering a life with a love?
The last stanza:
Oh how good
The love that melts
Me, I have a companion
I would say, please
Not for the laughter
Ma'm, He's an idiot
I love it, him
...
Like i said, I'm rusty, but that's my attempt!

Same here, my French used to be WAAAAAY better...

I am reading something in the middle like, "The words of love, which are too short; me, I dream big, like the elephant..." Am I reading this right??
