i wouldn't let your dad bring you down so easily just like that. you've been so happy since steve's come along and i don't want that to end! i've never even met the man but he's obviously a good guy. maybe you're dad isn't so sure anymore about steve coming into your mom's life... just a thought.

i love you and i'm always here if you need to talk about it. you know that. you're a wonderful person and you don't deserve to be treated like that, by anyone, let alone your dad.

i think the stuff with the boy will clear up soon. i need to hear what happened with that today.

we need to talk soon, because ive realized a lot of stuff about dads lately and i think it would be good.

i dont know if you realize how freakin happy it makes me to hear about having Steve in your life now and how things have gotten better between you and your mom. Its just really great to see that you have a father figure that is willing to treat you as his own.

You are a wonderful person Carrie, don't let your dad taking his problems out on you make you think anything less. and i love you.
