God, I don't even know what to say. I think back to those raving comments I left on each of these snippets and just- it was easier, when they were grouped into little comments because now- well, I don't even think it's possible to quote back all the little things that I loved about this. And just. There's so much, so much freaking detail in it, little things that really make the story. Things that most writers forget to include because they're so caught up in plot and danger and they forget about including life.

I loved every single word of this 19,000 word monstrosity. Every single one, and even the bits that I'd already read before were such a pleasure to reread. Everything came together so well, and there's that underlying pain and tragedy that just really hurts, but it's wonderful to see the way they all came together, like a family. And just, you are so right. Sahz is the hero of this story. I don't really know what to say in response, except thank you! Thank you for helping with it, because frankly, I never finish things unless someone, like, is all supportive and interested. And thank you for liking it! as;dflkj Shameless vampire fic is just so. You know. So thanks for even taking a chance on it way back when.

And yeah, Sazh totally became the hero. And the tomato soup bit was the core of the fic; like, I was sure I was going to end the fic on that conversation, but getting to that point was really difficult, especially since I wrote the fic linearly, other than writing the first biting/feeding bit early, when I showed it to you? But other than that, I was working from beginning to end, so it was pretty difficult to get to that point, and to set it up. And to be honest, by the end, I was like, "ASD;FLKJ SCREW IT, IT CAN'T GET LONGER. ENDING NOW." So. !! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I'm glad that it worked well together. :D

This fandom is very tiny and silent. The only comms that are even kind of active are ff13_fanfic and hopexlightning. And then there's a Vanille/Fang (oerbas) and Snow/Serah (kristallised), but those aren't very active. Hell, the only thing that seems to still be alive in this fandom is the kink meme. It makes me sad.

BUT YES. THIS WAS AWESOME, I LOVE IT. Shameless vampire fic may be shameless, but it's also beautiful.

God, that is just so perfect. Beautiful and sad and gritty and here I go down into keyboardsmash again AFSDHJEYR%IGDJ.

I love the tone, like a lot. It fits in with FFXIII just right, bittersweet and painful and occasionally hilarious. And the voices are spot-on -- I can hear the characters talking. And ;lkadgjskls the last line, so just right for this fic in specific and yet if you stuck a tagline on the game itself you couldn't find a better.

One itsy nitpick: there are a few places where there's no capital letter at the start of a line of dialogue leading in from the narration. Other than that, we're back in keyboardsmash-perfect land.
