I threw a ball down the hallway for her to chase and she took off after it. I didn't see what she did, but she let out this high pitched yelp. Usually I ignore her yelps because she does it when she's startled or runs into Brando, the other dog in the household, but she let out several in a row. So I went to see what was up and she was coming back down the hallway with her rear right leg sort of dragging behind. I got her to stay stationary for a while, so I could look at it and call the vet for an appointment. I induced her to walk after a while, just to see if she could and she was putting weight on it, but it didn't look quite right and she was walking funny. They don't know for sure, he didn't see the need for x-rays at this point because it felt like a soft tissue injury. He thinks she strained or sprained her acl. So we have anti-immflammatories and if she's not better in a few days, then go back for x-rays.
