So I have a sebaceous cyst on my upper back near my left shoulder blade that's become infected. I took myself down to the clinic and spent a spent a couple of hours in the waiting room for a prescription for anti-biotics and an appointment to go back in a week to see how i't s going. I had one of those last year... almost the same spot. They actually had to drain it, etc. (and all that other lovely stuff), and I do have a scar. It hasn't come back but it hurts occasionally (and yep, my doc said that they can reoccur). After they did all the surgery (they called it that, but I didn't consider it surgery!), they had me on a course of antibiotics.
