So, it's been well over two months since I made my last post, and since early summer since I made any post of anything substantial. It's been a MEGA busy summer. I've probably done more in the last 4 months that the last 4 years... well, it seems that way

I don't like it much either and don't care much for the time I spend/waste there but, and I most definitely don't like how it has become synonymous with "the internet", kinda like MySpace was for a bunch of clueless dolts several years back (Facebook is NOT the fucking Internet!), ironically, I've also had a FB account since mid 2007, before the majority of people had one or knew what FB was. It's just with my involvement and prominent place in Rocky Horror (as well as the cast that I lead), it's completely unavoidable. I literally can't sign up for or register for or confirm events me and my organization hosts or participates in, or exchange/track information, or interact with many/most people I would (read; DID in the days before FB). If I want people to attend my shows and give the money to continue to do my show or participate in the community on any substantial level, it's Facebook or wither and die on a vine.

I feel for you that facebook is a necessary evil in your life. It's not exactly social networking for you, it's more like a marketing tool.

I have no need of such a tool for either purpose. I make friends without it.

Yeah, I'll actually probably post more in November than I have in the last year or even two combined (it'll be obvious why, "post" Halloween), so you'll have a lot of my blabbing to look forward to.

I can understand you on that. When will the clue show be? i do remember it happening at the con, but would love to see it again.

Clue is November 10th at midnight. We actually haven't done it since 2007, so it should be fun / interesting.

Yep, my great LJ return is coming in November. I'm actually writing a lot now that will be posted then, but I don't have the time to keep up with the comments and such until November, so you just get the "spotty" posting and commenting jefF until then.

I remember the time when I would spend a few days away from LJ and I couldn't even read the backlog of friend's entries because it would go over the 1000 post limit.

No problem with that anymore :-/
