slyreflection “Ok, listen up everyone,” Roger booms as he waves his arms around ecstatically. He’s done his best, along with some help from Andy, to gather all the players into the recreation room of the hotel. “Ok, so in your hands you should have an envelope. Inside will be a piece of paper that will have the scavenger hunt’s rules and instructions. It will also have the name of your partner. As soon as you find your partner, you are allowed to start. We tried to pair different people together, so if you are not happy with it, tough. Andy and I will be in here if any questions arise and we’ll be here for the end. Alright, go and have fun!”
Conversation breaks out again as the players being to rip open their envelopes. Tommy quickly takes out the paper and stares at it for a moment. Lleyton Hewitt. Lleyton Hewitt? He isn’t sure how he feels about this. Tommy personally hasn’t socialized with the man. Well, not about non-tennis things. Lleyton has a reputation for being very outspoken, to a point where it’s just outright rude. Tommy looks up and inhales when he sees Lleyton walk towards him.
“Hey, mate. Should we get started?” Lleyton asks as he extends his hand in greeting. Tommy accepts it and nods. He has no idea how this is going to turn out, but hey! He’s always up for some fun

An hour into the scavenger hunt, Tommy is ready to kill Lleyton. The man won’t shut up! He just talks about himself, and how the next tournament is “his”. Tommy finds it a shame, because Lleyton is quite good looking but that mouth of his is annoying the hell out of Tommy! They have four of the ten items on the list already and are about to get their fifth.
“Ok, Lleyton. If you get the magazine, I’ll talk to the receptionist and that way we get two of the items instead of just one,” Tommy states as he looks down at the sheet.
Lleyton laughs. “How about you get the magazine and I’ll talk to the receptionist? I’ll be better at it.”
Tommy looks up. “Excuse me? I think I can manage getting McEnroe’s room key.”
“No offence, Haas, but women fall for the accent. I’ll do it.”
Tommy waves his hands. “Uh, hello? You think I talk like this for fun? I’ve had more than my share of women, thank you very much.”
Lleyton smirks. “I highly doubt that.”
Smoke is almost visible as it pours out of Tommy’s ears. He takes a quick look around before pushing Lleyton against the nearest wall. “Look, Hewitt. I put up with your bullshit for longer than I had to. This is supposed to be fun but with an arse like you for a partner, it’s anything but. I don’t give a shit about the slams you’ve won or what kind of gel you put on your hair. So stop being a pompous arse and let’s finish this fucking thing!”
Lleyton is taken by surprise by Tommy’s rant and he raises his hands in surrender. “Ok ok, Tommy boy. All you had to say was shut up and I would have. I didn’t mean to piss you off.” When Tommy lets him go, he starts to laugh. “Ok, you go charm the girl but I’m coming with you to McEnroe’s room.”
Tommy just nods, turns around and walks towards the receptionist’s desk.

Tommy smirks as Lleyton passes him to walk into Johnny McEnroe’s room. “Loretta was sweet, wasn’t she?”
Lleyton laughs as he immediately starts searching through the suitcase that’s sitting on the bed. “Yes, yes, Tommy boy. You’re quite the hit with the ladies. Let’s hurry up and find McEnroe’s underwear so we can get out of here!”
They both work together and find it quite quickly. Tommy pulls out his phone and takes a video of Lleyton holding the boxers and pans across the room, as per the instructions. When they leave the room, the pair are laughing quite hysterically.
“Ok, so cross off the key and the underwear. That leaves four more. The magazine and Japanese drink should be easy. So lets go do that first, yeah?” Tommy asks as they climb into the elevator. As the doors close behind them, Lleyton smirks and says, “I just love it when you take charge.”
Tommy stares at him. “What?”
Lleyton remains silent with a shit-eating grin on his face.

Tommy wants to scream after the fifth convenient store. The magazine was easy. It had to be one with Roger on the cover (conceited mother….) but not a tennis magazine. The Japanese drink… Now that’s a whole different story. The fact that the name of the drink is in Japanese doesn’t help either. This particular one is supposed to have a pink label with “100%” flashed across it, along with Japanese characters and a picture of a cartoon panda. Not one of the stores carries any Japanese drink though.
When Lleyton hears Tommy mumbling to himself angrily, he throws his arm over the German’s shoulder as he steers him out of the store. “Don’t worry about it, mate. We’ll get the other two and go back. So what if we didn’t get the Japanese drink? I’m sure no one has.” He pecks Tommy on the cheek as he moves away to get into the car.
When Tommy doesn’t move from the spot that has rendered him still, Lleyton sticks his head out of the window. “You coming?”
Tommy shakes his head before jogging lightly to the car. As he takes a seat and straps himself in, he turns to the Aussie. “What was that about?”
“What?”
“That” Tommy says, pointing to outside.
Instead of answering, Lleyton leans in and kisses his cheek again, this time capturing the corner of Tommy’s lips. “Don’t worry about that. Let’s go finish this thing so we can shove the items up Roger’s and Andy’s arses.”
Tommy just stares at him.

The last two items on the list was to get autographs from one male and one female fan. As soon as the car came to a halt in front of the hotel, Lleyton smiles as he sees fans approach them. This is going to be easy. When a boy in his late teens asks him for his autograph, Lleyton flashes him his sexy smile as he tells the boy only if he does the same for him. The boy starts to stutter and isn’t sure what he means. Lleyton laughs as he signs the poster, hands the pen back to him and lifts his shirt.
Tommy watches in disbelief, before he whips out his phone. The rule is to videotape this. The poor boy shakes as he writes his name on Lleyton’s taut tan stomach. When he’s down, Lleyton grins as he thanks him. The teen walks away still dumbstruck.
“Ok, your turn, Haas. Pick a good one” He says as he plucks the phone out of Tommy’s fingers.
“You have no shame.”
Lleyton just shrugs and grins. Shaking his head, Tommy turns his attention to the fans.
“Can I get your autograph?” asks a young woman Tommy thinks his probably in her early twenties. He obliges with a smile. When she thanks him and turns to walk away, he frowns when Lleyton elbows him in the side.
“Uh, miss?” He waits until he’s got her attention. He has no clue how to approach this…
“Yeah?”
“You… You want to sign me?”
“Excuse me?”
Lleyton is bubbling with laughter that’s ready to erupt.
Tommy reddens immediately. “Uh, sign my arm?”
The girl giggles as she takes out her pen again and signs her name perfectly. She flashes him a smile before she retreats. Lleyton slaps Tommy on the back.
“That was hilarious, mate. Didn’t know you could look like a tomato.”
Tommy looks down at his feet as he whispers, “Shut up”
Lleyton just continues to laugh as he leads them to the recreation room.

Andy and Roger dutifully go over their items. The blush on Tommy’s face is just starting to fade as he waits with his gaze to the floor. Lleyton’s just keeps smiling.
“Ok, gentlemen. You complete all but one task. Where’s the drink?” Roger inquires.
Tommy looks up. “Couldn’t find it anywhere.”
Andy moves towards Roger to curl his arm around his waist. “Well, that’s the only way to win.”
Lleyton just shrugs, looking quite bored. “Has anyone else finished?”
Roger shakes his head. He’s about to say something when Andy beats him to it.
“The store that carries that drink is an hour away. You can go there and get it, so you win. Or. Or you one last thing we tell you.” Roger looks at him quizzically but Andy just smiles.
Lleyton’s in for the second option right away, wanting this stupid game to finish as quickly as possible but Tommy frowns. “What do we have to do?”
Andy grins as he looks from Tommy to Lleyton and back again. “Kiss… With tongue.”
Tommy just stares at him like he’s grown a second head while Lleyton chuckles. “Didn’t think you as a pervert, Roddick.”
Roger kisses Andy on the cheek and whispers close to his ear, “Neither did I.”
Andy laughs. “So?”
Lleyton turns to Tommy. “How about it, Tommy boy.”
Tommy shakes his head. Lleyton moves closer, closing off the distance between them.
“How about we start slow?” His hand creeps around Tommy’s waist, lightly resting on his hip. When Tommy doesn’t reply or acknowledge the touch, Lleyton bring his forehead to rest on Tommy’s before placing a peck on his lips. The Aussie moves in again, this time letting his lips linger. On the third kiss, Lleyton introduces his tongue, letting it run against Tommy’s bottom lip. Tommy’s lips quiver but do their best to resist submission. Lleyton’s hands press lightly into his lower back and Tommy moans a little, a mental blip that has his lips opening just enough for Lleyton to push his tongue in leisurely. Tommy automatically presses closer, liking the way Lleyton feels. Sure, it’s different, but in a good way. Their tongues dance with each other, slowly, as though they’re trying to engrain each other in memory.
When breathing becomes an issue, Lleyton pulls away slowly, smiling but anxious to see Tommy’s reaction. When he receives a smile as well, he feels a little lighter.
Andy and Roger declare them winners and give them their prize. When they leave with Lleyton’s hand resting on Tommy’s back, Andy turns to Roger with a predatory glint in his eyes.
“Well, that was fun.”
