well, thank you. But really, the most informed people about politics tend to be partisan in one way or another. After all, the more someone knows something, the more likely they are to make money at it, and the best way to make money in politics is to be on one side or another. Read a well done poll years ago that said only 7% of self-identified Independents had deep working knowledge of more than one political issue. I don't think the number has changed much recently. It's not a matter of uninformed, a lot of the time, but more selective information.
