Sometimes I feel the exact same way about my freinds. I feel like I am growing up but they aren't. Like I'm almost leaving them behind. You shouldn't let your friends keep you from maturing, from growing up. You should be able to be yourself with your friends. That's what friends are for, right? People who love you and stick by you even though you're flawed. So you may not be able to get them to grow up or live a little but that shouldn't stop you from doing it. I mean you could try, see what happens. They may be thinking the same thing. So get out there. Quench that thirst you have for exitement, GO CRAZY. Just don't let your judgemental friends get in the way of that.

I don't really think they are judgemental or don't accept me, it's something else...I can't place it. It's also somewhat internal, that I'm afraid that I will disappoint them. My school is also so obsessed with cliques that it doesn't matter if I do try to go out there and party with the kids who do because they simply wont accept me...and I'm also too scared.
