In all fairness, Afghanstan is still considered a 'war zone' where according to the military (I'm a Marine wife), Iraq is now only a stabalization zone.

What's going on in Gaza is beyond appalling. And you are right that Obama's policy towards Israel/Palestine is going to be more of the same.
