Blackstar pays little mind to which direction he's pointed when he lifts away from the ocean's surface above the Decepticon base. He just wants to fly, and direction doesn't matter to him any more. Whatever sensors or radars or satellites these humans have, none of them would be able to pick him up now anyway, except for possibly as a blurry image ( Read more... )

There's a noticeable pause (this is becoming routine...) on the other end before he answers.

There is another pause, not because Steadfast is anything other than awake, but because she's conferring with Wingblade.

"'Blade? I really should be going back to Autobot City after this, but... what are you going to do in the mean time?"

Steadfast sighs. Big pleading winglet optics shouldn't have any effect on a hardened Decepticon. Except they do. "Alright."

This can only end in disaster. "But when we're there, you will have to behave and do as I tell you. You know there's a truce, so you will treat the Autobots accordingly."

To Echoshift, she answers, //I'll be going back to Autobot City, and taking Wingblade with me.//

Steadfast holds Wingblade tight, feeling her soft purrs against her. They'll handle it somehow. At least Ratchet being around alive should go a long way towards giving Wingblade the impression that certain things haven't happened...

After a moment, Steadfast leads Wingblade out to the elevator.
