Having left Auspex's Sanctuary somewhat abruptly, Blackstar drifts aimlessly in the spirit world for a time, lost as much in his thoughts as he was between the worlds. Eventually, however, shock wears off, and stubborn refusal sets in again. He doesn't want to think about this anymore for a while

There's an unsteady knocking at the bottom of the door, as if something is running into it again and again. A small, familiar voice begs entry.

"Spook!"

Blackstar turns towards the door in surprise. One of the zamboni-mechs? What's it doing here?

Another shrug to himself, and Blackstar crosses to the door, taking a moment of concentration to solidify his form to punch in the standard default code to open it up. Eh, he was going to have to change that code anyway, he muses as the door slides open.

This zamboni has a red one painted on his side, to make it easier for his 'parents' to tell him apart from the others. He was the first one out, a touch bigger than the others, and his memories are the clearest.

"Spook. Spook see." Zamboni One nudges his foot, seeming to lack the vitriol of his siblings. "Spook steal?"

Blackstar kneels down on Zamboni One's level. "Yeah, little guy. 'Spook steal'," he agrees evenly. Maybe having a solid base where anyone could track him down now and then isn't such a good idea, he ponders.

"Whatcha need, little guy?"
