I just got a wisdom tooth out on Monday, and if i were you I wouldn't be too worried about being knocked out. I was all worried that I'd be a wreck when Jamie got here on Tuesday, but I really wasn't. I was woozy after the operation for about an hour and then I was good to go. Same thing happened last time. I wouldn't worry. I'm sure you'll be fine to visit with friends sedative-wise.
Congrats on your paper! That's excellent!
And I also love "Comfortable." That's probably my favorite song of his.
