I spent most of the Spring waiting to hear about from his neurosurgeon about another surgery which never happened, so we wound up going to see someone else, going through 1001 imaging tests, and in the end, they decided it was too risky to put him through all that again. So at least we know what we have to work with, even if it's not great. He's also now seeing a very good rheumatologist to deal with the gout and other arthritis issues which at least should fix some of the things he's dealing with (too many at once

Btw - I was very pleased with the casting of Doctor #12, though I will miss Matt Smith terribly because I luff him!
