There was a carnival a little while ago? I completely missed it. I would say it was a shame, but carnivals aren't exactly my thing. I'm not a fan of large crowds, nausea inducing rides, and deep fried food. And unfortunately, that pretty much sums up what a carnival is. Oh well, I spent the weekend relaxing in my own way. Yes, I am. Ionia considers me an "Uncle" so I have been invited.

Something horrible? I should hope not. However, I can not say the same about 'unexpected.' But there will be plenty of friends and family around so I doubt the wedding will be ruined by any sort of upstart.

I shot metallic ducks with a pistol and got a tiger out of it, ate things I never thought would be edible and still question if they actually are, and rode on an oversized and glorified hamster wheel for fun.

It was fun.

I'm not sure if you'd appreciate the funnel cake. It is very messy an acquired taste.

No, I can't say I like the taste of funnel cake. Or anything deep fried, really. Though I do enjoy cotton candy every once in a while.

Perhaps there will be another carnival which you can attend. I'm certain this won't be the last one. Perhaps there is something to be said about enjoying a momentary thrill from the rides and junk food. It nothing else, it would be an experience.
