::sighs;: i come by to read because you said HI to me thru rY, and i find this... meep! i feel so stupid saying you've got my sympathies, condolances, etc... it seems so empty.
but i do have some idea how you feel. recently, my mother's best friend from college, whom i've known all my life, and her daughter (whom i've also known for all of HER life, as she's younger than me) died in a car accident in a snow storm, early December. they were the first people i'd really known who died. i dont know yet if i'll get to go to the memorial service, as they lived kinda far away.

either way, i hope things have gotten better since this post. take care of yourself.
