Actually, you're completely wrong.

How do you propose people contact their phone company other than by phone? Perhaps by telegraph, mail or pony express? Carrier pigeon?

What irritated me while working at a phone repair telecenter was how many people seemed so put off that sprint didn't just KNOW their phone was off and that they had to locate a WORKING phone to call us. It's just so harrrrd.

But yeah, the AT&T broadband thing, that is really retarded. :-p

Hahahah. I'm not arguing that people shouldn't call... I just think that should word it a little better so it doesn't sound like they're asking customers to use a non-fuctioning device to obtain help. (Yes, this is the English degree-carrying dork in me speaking)

Well if they're that stupid to not understand that they can't use their own phone to call, they deserve whatever they get.

:-p

That is sooo not surprising::L::

My problem with Verizon, Dominion Power, and other utility companies is that their customers kept calling me when they couldn't get help from their providers.

It got to the point where I just was bluntly refusing to entertain anymore of their questions. Ya know, I have people with trees falling on their houses, so the last thing *I* need are some yuppies complaining about their cell phones::L::
