So...I didn't go to work tonight b/c I was in a minor car accident on my way to work. I was fine, but since I am pregnant, they wanted me to go up to the hospital and get checked out. Everything looked good with the baby, but my doc wanted me to be admitted to be observed for four hours, as even a minor car accident poses a risk of placental ( Read more... )

I am glad you are alright! even a minor accident would freak me out. The hospital is very boring, I had a c section but the kept me in the hospital for 5 freaking days, I was bored out of my mind. I can't wait to hear all about your birth story :)

Glad you are OK. Hospitals are HELLA boring. Chris and I were at Wishard a couple months ago and sitting around was awful. (and the coffee sucked too)

Bleh...sucky coffee. You'd think as much as a place like a hospital charges, the coffee at least would be good. It's not like it's that expensive. Jeesh. :p Let's kick 'em in the nuts. :D

The last time I spent several hours at the hospital (just a few weeks ago for a ruptured ovarian cyst), I did my statistics homework. I think the staff was amused. :)

I can crochet, but I don't know how capable I'll be of counting stitches when I'm in labor, lol.

Ouch on the cyst! I trust everything is okay now??

Oh and be happy you didn't have him a couple weeks earlier. He would be a taurus then and with your genetics he will already be stoborn enough.

I think that's why he hasn't been born yet...when I was first pregnant, I would tell the baby that he wasn't allowed to be born any earlier than the 21st or 22nd b/c I wouldn't be able to handle the stubborness!! Maybe he listened a little *too* well, lol. :D
