Home again, home again :)

I just wanted to let everyone know that we are *finally* home!! Gabriel and I are both doing fantastic, nursing is going *great*. :D Tomorrow when I'm not so exhausted, I hope to have the time to write our birth story.

Oh my gosh, will you look at that cuteness (like you can stop right now right??) I am so proud and happy that breastfeeding is going great for you :) I am going to drop you an e mail about growth spurts and a few other things that you might find helpful at this time. Let me know if there is anything you need help with. How is your csection scar healing up for you? I just want to keep staring at him, lol. :D It's like I can't believe he's actually MINE, you know?? I just want to smile and cry all at the same time.

The incision is healing nicely, but Lowell has to remind me not to do too much otherwise I start hurting. I think the worst is getting up from laying down, but I'm doing better at that. I'm trying to wean myself off the pain meds the doc prescribed, but sometimes it gets to be too much for just ibuprofen. Lowell told me, "Baby, you just had major abdominal surgery less than a week ago. It's going to take some time." I know it will, but it's hard to not do too much.

Congratulations! He is such a beautiful little thing! I am so glad you are doing well. I know having a c-section is rough, having just watched my sister-in-law go through it, so be careful! Enjoy having everyone pamper you for a bit. You deserve it.
