Ever considered just getting some of the cushioned insole things to put in those boots? If the boots are still in good shape and you like them, there's no reason to immediately jump to the "drop a lot of money on new boots" step.
While one would think that would work, it sadly does not.
You see these boots were perfectly comfortable without extra padding, never needed it and so if I try adding it in, the boots are then too tight to wear. It's most vexing.
This may be useful to you, or it may be totally dorktastic, but this site: http://www.scaboots.com/ has some fairly nice looking and comfortable boots, at not completely unreasonable prices, and most of them won't make you look so much like a RenFaire nerd... };>
