When I woke up this morning, I felt motivated to clean out my car. Now, after spending fifteen minutes on hold with Comcast just to pay my bill and ultimately hanging up in frustration, I don't feel like doing jack crap. It's like they make their hold music as annoying as possible just to force people to hang up. Yes, I've never heard Eine ( Read more... )

Yea Rachel, that's why you don't actually listen to the phone. You go back to it ever so often to make sure it's not still attempting to strangle you with butchered classical music. Monopolies aren't ENTIRELY bad . . . =P

Based on the sheer number of musicians they've influenced, I don't think I can. Though my own personal nomination goes to Led Zeppelin because they were, and are, totally awesome.

I've dealt with that for the last couple of days. Comcast is a bitch and that music is annoying. I did hang up a few times so I could avoid listening to it. And the representatives are busy, makes me wanna kill myself or commit homicide. I tried to talk to one of those automated machines and find out what was wrong with my Comcast cable tv, and my number wouldn't register with it. Fucking Comcast.

I was just trying to get my account number so I could pay my bill online, because my statement for the month got thrown away and it's not like I keep them all. But noooooo.

we had kind of the same experience recently with those comcast fuckers. certain channels decided that the sound would cut in and out whenever it pleased (usually for like 10 to 15 min intervals). the phone range what seemed like 20 times and they never picked up. then after calling back they picked up and tried to say it was something on our end; when it turned out to be there doing.

They're so fucking lazy because they don't have to worry about keeping their customers, especially the ones who live in apartments. I know I don't want to have to fuck around with aiming a satellite dish on my tiny, tiny patio. Some people in this community have dishes stuck on giant ugly poles that have completely rusted and look like shit. Oy.
