Consider that love is formulaic where L1 ~= P*(R+(p*A)), where P is proximity R is the composite of like factors including beliefs, schema, cultural similarity, and interests p is perception of the other at relation formation (see 'anchoring and adjustment') as well as Mere Exposure Effect (basically, fondness originating from a novel stimulus becoming familiar) and A is affect (including Agreeableness and Neuroticism personality traits, as well as affect during time spent with person)
Of course, that equation is fuzzy (and I'm too lazy to get out my psych books) but it's sufficient to suggest how love can come and go, and that the number of potential (if not ideal) mates is significant. That said, had variables been adjusted we might just be twin souls ^^. As is, I'm glad to be your friend (and consul), even IF you think of me first when you see 'cracka'. Meany.
