School is teh evil

Well, after getting nothing but D's on quizzes and labs, and getting a F on my first exam... I am officially dropping Chemistry. I really fucking hate chemistry. Out of all the sciences, this is my worst subject area. I'll take it again in summer or fall, when I have more time to concentrate on it. Right now, I care more about my Teaching Math ( Read more... )

Aww, the prospect of blowing shit up mercilessly isn't enough to keep you in the class?

Haha, I kid.

If you take it in the summer (and need help or any shit like that, gimme a call.)

And thank you for going to the gLBt student union meeting last night!

I wish we were blowing stuff up... but then again, with the track record I was having with fumes and chemicals... I probably would get blown up.

If it's available in Spring/Summer, I'll more than likely take it. If not, I'll just have to wait until fall. No biggie though, since it's a class for my major and not something I need to get into the College of Education.

No problem about the meeting! It was short, but we had fun. I'll tell you more about it Friday or Saturday.

Yeah, I know. Haven't had one of those in a while. Such a pain in the ass to have to wake up and drive too.

I also start my Thursdays at quarter t'twelve. I'll see you there.

The middle-agers had it right - chemistry (alchemy) is math, not natural science =/

Yay! We should get to school early and go talk or something. And you could use me as a guinea pig for any Psychology things that you might need for a class.

Damn middle-agers and actually being right about something! Yeah, chemistry has a lot of math, but that wasn't my major problem. I was having trouble remembering what was what. Like: alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, aldehydes, etc. I knew how to tell what they were... I was just not getting the naming down.
