Closing the game

The moderators have talked and we have decided that it's time for Midori Senzai to shut down. It's not the game we once set out to do and we have mostly lost all our drive to maintain the game. At this rate, it will just slowly fade away so we thought it would be better to just end it now and let things rest in peace ( Read more... )

You could have asked if anyone wanted to take over the game instead of deciding on your own to get rid of it just when it was getting active again, because you don't feel like running it anymore.

Way to talk to your players, guys.
Thanks for closing a game some of us really enjoyed.

We have a few reasons as to why we closed, rather than stepping down. Had we felt anywhere inclined to hand it over, we would have. But some of us weren't comfortable with that concept at all. Sorry you're upset by it, but this is what the mods felt was the best option for the game we created, and not what it became.

To be completely honest, none of us (mods) have enjoyed this game for a while, either. It's become something that we don't even recognize anymore. I myself freely admit that I hate it, and only stayed as long as I did because I felt bad for ditching the mod team the first time I did that. With each character I took I hoped it would make me enjoy the game just a little bit. Never happened. Now, I could have dropped, and honestly almost did... but the last round of promotions and plot device was me (with other mod permission) trying to get the game back on track amidst the 3 other mods being busy with school. Which is not to blame anyone, but point out the fact that we did try ( ... )
