This is completely mind-blowing and wonderful. Hot and amazing and GOD, do I ever feel like the luckiest girl in fandom right now! Thank you SO very much! I honestly just don't have the words for how I feel about this story! Eeeee!

I'm glad you enjoyed it - I really should be thanking you because I never would have thought of this pairing, and even despaired for a while of figuring out what they had in common until theamusedone took pity on me. *G*

I feel very lucky to have been able to write again after so long and I owe you and brooklinegirl an enormous debt of gratitude.

I think the final analysis says that all of fandom wins for this one. :)

I am so glad!

I've never seen MLAAD, though I've seen a few screen caps. I don't even know what Buried on Sunday is about, and actually, I don't care. I really, really don't care, because this is wonderful and I can make up context for the supporting characters I can't figure out, so it's all good. Seriously. I'm in awe. I haven't read a love-at-first-sight story that felt so intrinsically real in...maybe ever? Definitely ever. *flails incoherently*

You've got to see BoS.

And MLAAD but I can't help there. :-/

Will email. *g*

I'm not sure I've ever read anything I loved this much.

Well, thank you. I am very glad I was able to write it after so long not writing.

Oh, darlin' - me most emphatically too.

This is actually the only one of the Midsummer fics I've read - treated myself to it last weekend based on the pairing, as I'd just been introduced to the wonder of MLAAD - and I'm having to almost physically restrain myself from rereading it too many times.

Oh my GOD. I can only thank my lucky stars that misspamela asked for this pairing. This is already one of my favorite stories, and I've only just finished it for the first time. (That there will be many re-readings is not a question up for debate.)

You totally *sold* this, and it's so hot, and so satisfying, and so gorgeous and rich and expansive that I'm going to gush all over this comment in embarrassing fashion. (And there's HOCKEY in it, too, yay!)

What a beautiful connection between the two characters you've forged. (And what hot, hot sex.) I'm seriously in *love* with this fic; thank you so much for writing it.

I agree - misspamela deserves huge kudos for thinking of this pairing, because I never would have done. I wasn't sure I'd be able to find a way for them to connect, and I was scared of "kidfic" but going to (volunteering at!) hockey tournaments ended up having even more fringe benefits than I'd originally thought. *g*

If it sold, it's because theamusedone totally got Gus and Johnny and what I was trying to do, and explained it in words of one syllable to me. *g* And imkalena got me over the first sex scene and well into the morning after. Her way with words is amazing.
