Well, that's definitely good news for me. :D And thank you for commenting and adding this journal. I really appreciate that. Your comments and support encourage me to make more graphics when others don't care to leave me comments.
Hi! I just found your journal today (quite by accident, actually, I wasn't looking for brushes or anything). I just want to say that I think you have some absolutely lovely brushes and textures, so I've downloaded most of them! I've added you to my credits on my user-info (I haven't used any of your stuff yet, but I know I will!) and added you to my watch-list. :D
I do have one (probably) stupid question...and I feel dumb asking it since I've been using PS for years. ^^;;;; With these textures, how exactly do I use them? Photoshop has a textures folder, but when I put them in there and use them as textures, they only come out black and white. I converted one to a pattern and that seemed to work ok, but I'm not sure if that's how they're supposed to be used. Or are they perhaps meant to be used as bases? I don't know... (If it helps, I use Photoshop CS/8.0 - though all the brushes you list as CS3 seem to work just fine in CS1, only the gradients don't :/)
Aww, thank you! I'm so happy you like my work! Don't feel stupid for asking questions. If I can help in any way I can, then I'll be more than happy to help. When I first started out learning Photoshop, no one (at all) would teach me anything because they're afraid to give up their 'secrets.' I'm not like that. I know how hard it is to learn certain things and you're more than welcome to ask questions, even if you think they're stupid
( ... )
Ahhh, ok~ That's easy enough, then. I just wasn't sure if there was some special texture feature of Photoshop I didn't know about! Thanks, for clearing it up for me :D
