too much battlestar

I had a thought about Battlestar just now, and I realize it's been in the back of my head since the first episode, plaguing me. If the cylons attacked as the Galactica was about to be turned into a museum, and the whole place had been set up that way (the chief mentions there being a gift shop in one of the hangers or something), then I imagine ( Read more... )

My thought on that -- though I had not thought on it before -- was that all civilians on board were moved to the civilian ships traveling with the fleet. I mean, there's quite a few of 'em, so . . . yeah.

this reminds me vaguely of that scene in Clerks, where they're discussing how the first destruction of the Death Star was totally cool, because it was all imperial troops on board - but the second Deathstar was still in construction, so the rebels killed all those innocent contractors.

but of course, the contractors knew the dangers when they signed up, so, whatever.
