One of the most important websites of my youth, The Dent is scheduled to close down in May. Now, if you knew me at all in high school, you knew what a huge Tori Amos fangirl I was (well, we're called Ears with Feet, if you want to be really particular). I suddenly feel nostalgic for, of all things, a website

I guess that could seem strange, but by senior year of college, the person that you were in high school should be foreign to some degree. it's healthy. I'll admit that ears with feet is a weird term though.

_little earthquakes_ was the first album i bought myself, though _choirgirl_ was the first album of hers i got. and, perhaps not surprisingly, they're still my favorites (maybe it's also because after that, the piano is less prominent as well). oh, sparks and silent all these years and winter and black dove and jackie's strength and all the others, i will always love you.
