So I picked a plan. I went with T-Mobile, and the Nokia 6103, which unfortunately has a camera (why oh why don't they make nice phones with no cameras?) The guy who sold me the package was friendly and competent. The store was busy, but didn't have the frenetic, disorganized feel of the Verizon store. I've never gotten the hang of bubble tea, either. Though I think my problem is that I've swallowed one too many of the tapioca balls whole.

I do not much like bubble tea, myself. Never liked the tapioca -- chewy, ick -- and if I'm not going to have it with the tapioca, I'll just get a smoothie, thanks.

T-Mobile is okay, but the coverage is noticeably less good. But we've never had issues with them in any way. hmm.

also
I find that bubble tea can be quite yucky if the tapioca isn't thoroughly cooked.

That might have been the problem. The tapioca was a bit too chewy.

I'll see how T-Mobile goes. The main thing I liked was how honest the guy was who sold it to me. He said, "Listen, I usually get full service or no service, and in most places, it's full service. But check it out and get back to me in 14 days." I thought that was pretty good.
