neverending week of DOOM

Feb 16, 2007 23:33

My god, it's been a long week.

I need a few things:

1) Non-water soluble glue that will stick to plastic and wood.

2) People from Indianapolis who work with children and/or theater people.

3) A drink that doesn't taste like Simple Green

I think I can handle #3 on my own, but if any of you know a good answer to 1 or 2, post please!

I'm gluing a giant piece of tileboard to the bottom of a kiddie pool. I need the tileboard to then stay put as we pour about 2-4 inches of water on top of it. Trust me, it makes sense. . . I think.

So I looked at Household Goop, and it said no plastic, so I went with WeldIt, which seems to have worked (or at least I'll know on Thursday!), but thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction and telling me to get a flexible bond type of glue!

I've had a lot of luck with simple Krazy Glue, or equivalent; it only dissolves under nail polish remover, and is actually a lot stronger for long-term use than people give it credit for.

I was a childen when I lived in Indianapolis, does that count? Also, maybe check out getting in contact with the Children's Museum there as it is really awesome.
