I think I have a cavity of some sort - I noticed today that my back molar has a dark spot on it, almost like there is a piece of food or something on it except it's not because I've spent the last 5 hours at work poking and prodding it and it just won't budge. I must be insane; I’m working a double shift tonight - 2pm to 6:30am. Three people were scheduled to work tonight for the overnight shift but one called out yesterday for two days and another one called in this afternoon. I know some of you don't want to hear it but....
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. The stores are putting up wreaths and lights, the "Sounds of the Season" cable radio station is playing Christmas tunes, the hospital gift shop is increasing the paycheck deduct option from 300 dollars to almost 800 dollars and it's snowing in certain parts of the country. Ooooh, rightonhigh5, that diet you sent me is great and all except NO caffeine??? You can ask Christopher, I almost wept. I had to turn to Google to find out exactly why the caffiene is such a no-no but all the studies seem to say that it's actually good, just in very small amounts. My new shoes came from Payless - they are very nice and my husband was even nicer because he went to the actual store to return the olive green boots for the black ones that I really wanted. Awwww. My mother-in-law did recieve her flowers and she liked them so thanks for all the feedback - I'm glad everyone agrees that I have decent taste ( Read more... ) -

We found the apartment we are going to move into in March. It's cheaper than the other ones we've been looking at and it's MUCH bigger (1,100 sq feet) than them as well. Plus, they have dog walking trails, a 24 hour fitness area, billiard room, whirlpool, huge swimming pool and everything is brand new since the apartments themselves are only a year ( Read more... ) -
Only four more hours to go
I've been here a little over twelve hours now so before I crashed and burned, I hit up the vending machines. They sell 1 oz packages of Toblerone (swiss chocolate w/ almond honey nougat but you knew that, right?) now! They also have Diet Coke w/ Splenda and Diet A&W Root Beer. I'm in love with whomever stocks these things. -

Dear God - it's not even 9am yet and I've been at work for two hours already. Someone kill me - I'm here until 10:30 tonight. At least I have Ritalin, Self magazine and McDonald's yogurt parafits to keep me going. Plus, didja hear - the White Sox won last night against Houston! Oh my gosh, what a great day! It seemed like it might turn bad because we found a GREAT apartment that is with the same management company as our current (very, very shitty) apartment so we asked them if we could transfer.
