I am going to take a little side step and talk about some things other than wrestling (sorta). I will get to my WWA stories at a later time.

First thing I want to talk about is Sunday Night Suplex (SNS. I have been getting a lot of questions about it, so I am going to answer them. SNS was an idea I had about a year ago, well, the idea was kinda given to me. I was (at the time) working on making some independent films with some friends. Well after some discussion we decided to not make a movie, but instead make a TV show to air on the local channels. Unfortunately people had to back out for one reason or another. I later was talking Benito’s house and told him what happened. He gave me the idea of just making low budget talk show for the local area. I liked the idea, so I started to pursue it. I came to a few dead ends, and decided local TV was not the way. An Internet TV show was the way.

I was letting MWM sit in cyberspace not doing a thing. It was around November last year that the owner of TSC approached CPW and I about working together, for the better of the local Indy scene. It then hit me, why not do an Internet show primarily about Indy wrestling? I agreed, and I started to work on putting the MWM site together and getting people to help out. It did not take long until I hade a full line up for columnists and interviewers.

It was then time to start production on SNS. I need some things before I could start. A host was the first on the list. You may be asking, “Why don’t you host?” And I will answer by saying I don’t want to. I would rather be on the sidelines doing the technical stuff. My first choice of a host was Jimmy D. So I called him up and asked. He told me that he could not do it very often, but would love to be a guest host now and then. Well since he cant be there every other week, I needed to find someone else. The next choice I had was Curt Razo. He and I had known each other for a few years, plus he has the right personality I am looking for, along with a huge amount of knowledge of wrestling and the local scene. I called him up and asked, he immediately said yes. We are now planning the first show. I am just waiting for some equipment to arrive in the mail and some paper to go through. As soon as that is all done, you will see the first show.

I feel that MWM is moving along rather nicely. We have great columnists, we are getting more interviews in, we are starting to collect photos to put up and will start putting up show reviews as they come in.

As some of you may or may not know I do have some friends that help me with the updating. Well one friend, and he wishes to remain nameless. The site has under gone a lot of subtle changes that only he and I notice. The site will get a complete overhaul once we get the online store up and running. That’s right, I said store. I am going to try and focus on only selling wrestling related items. I am in talks with some promoters to sell some of their items on the MWM.

Whelp, that raps this week up. I will keep everyone informed as time goes by.

Have a good one,
Nick
