MUST READ LABEL BEFORE SPRAYING !!!!!

Kevin called me at work this morning to tell me that when he sprayed my flower bed and the hostas and my yucka plant with what he thought was the bug-be-gone spray....it was actually the weed killer spray. He said he didn't even think to look at the label b/c he thought he was grabbing the right one. He said the flowers were dying. I thought ( Read more... )

Are these the plants her was planting when I came to meet him?

I can't keep a silk plant alive, much less an outdoor plant. I tried to cultivate and split one of the rosebushes that came with the house and it died. Kevin did some minor things and moved it and now it is coming back.

Yes and no. I had him prepare the ground before I planted. The ground was full of hard clay/rocks/stumps. *I* did the planting, watering, weeding, caring, etc. Regardless, we are going to go out this morning and look for new flowers. I'm thinking that it is too late in the season to find anything...but...we shall see. 8)
