Haha, I am a lazy mom.
For the first hour of our day I put on Signing Time and let it amuse Andy so I can try to wake my ass up.
He doesn't really pay attention to it, but he does look up and watch it for a few minutes every now and then. At least I'm learning though, haha. OMGZ I CAN SAY THANK YOU AND PLEASE IN SIGN LANGUAGE!!

Just a head's up, be careful how much television you allow your kid to watch. Over stimulation tends to result in ADD.

Oh yeah, I totally know. That's why its the ONLY thing that is on tv while he is awake and its only just an hour.
As of now, children under 2 shouldn't watch anymore then 2 hours of tv a day. Of course, that could change ANY MINUTES as there are studies done like..every 3 minutes.

I just always get a bit nervy when I hear about kids watching TV. Two of my nephews (Cobie and Tanner) were (and still are) exposed to CONSTANT television in their household. There's a TV in every room and they're always on and Cobie didn't learn to talk to till he was three.. he still does it a bit odd. Not to mention the kids are fucking violent psychopaths.. as opposed to Preston and Carter (the latter especially) who is extremely mellow, smart, and has a better memory than the other ones.

The studies are changing constantly, this is just what I see from personal experience. So I'm REALLY happy to hear that's the only thing he's watching. Wouldn't want your kiddy to end up a fucking PSYCHO like some of the ones I've seen.

Looking forward to hearing from you again, Rein. xx

Oh my gosh I totally agree with you! My cousins are absolutely crazy and they grew up with the tv on 24/7. My two year old cousin still isnt talking and his older brother didn't really start until he was nearly three.
My brother and I didn't watch hardly any tv while we were babies and we started talking at 10 months.

I figure that even though TV is bad for babies at least a show with little kids singing and doing sign language isn't THAT BAD.
