Confused..

I just got back from the ProScout conference in Seattle (see previous entry), so Yay! One thing off my life's to do list. It was a lot of fun and I even got one call back. So, maybe I'll spend some time making pretty pictures of me and see if I can't do some local modeling ( Read more... )

1.) I feel like I've disappointed the world, my world anyways.
I think this shows not that you're a disappointment, but that your world is focused on the wrong things, perhaps.

2.) my parents won't/can't pay for...
Again, if you want to pursue every dream, you can't always hold on to your safety line. And, opportunity doesn't come for free.

3.) I guess failure, on this scale, has never been something I do or am.
I know you'll grow from this. And nobody wins all the time.

4.) although if i try hard enough, maybe I can fix that last bit.
If you try hard enough at the right things, you can do anything.

Although my comments probably don't seem entirely consolatory, I don't think this is a time when you need people blowing sunshine up your ass.

If you've found it so easy to fall off the path, maybe you're walking in the wrong direction.

Really, honestly, I DON'T. :)
I was looking for an objective perspective I guess, cuz I have had difficulty doing that lately. It was so hard for me to just find the next step and say, well, I can't go back to Duq. and it's too late to apply most places, so probably Clark for a semester. But yes, thank you for being a good and honest friend! *HUG* It's nice to know you really care.

Beth~

Basically, what Jake said. If it helps at all, at least Michelle will be there and Clark isn't that bad for a two-year college.

And I HATE the idea of having to live at home next year and not have friends
You'll make friends if you try hard enough. I know I did make some great friends at Clark.

*sends hugs* I know it sucks to live at home, since I am living it right now, but you never know, good things may come out of it.

I'll either be going to Western or UW, depending on whether I get accepted to UW or not.
