ME!! Especially Doug, and not just because I'm like doug doug doug!!! but because Chavez is so good.
There are 2 reasons Doug didn't get it. numero uno. he was traded. numero dos. he sucked it up at hitting this year.
but thats so so so dumb. its supposed to be a DEFENSIVE award. ugh!!!! doug is so much better than stupid Erstad.

Yeah, it is a defensive only award. Bret Boone had a terrible year at the plate, batting. 250. Next year, maybe!

Koskie is the third basemen for the Twins. He's probably one of the best defensive third basemen after Chavez. It's too bad he didn't get it because he has a great fielding percentage!

well he didnt really catch wakefield, that was mirabelli, but if u look at the stats, i just dont understand it... irod had 11 errors and a 984 fieldin percentage, and v-tek had 2 errors and a 998 fielding perentage.. granted it doesnt just go with that, but if u look at all the other stats i think he shuda got it, with the caught stealing to stolen base percentage, alot of that can be because of the pitches,... but yeahh
