i was interested how everyone became doug fans? Ive also noticed alot of people for mass. are now doug fans.. did you just start liking him now that hes on the red sox? OR did you like him before?
just wondering.

Twins fan... loved Doug since, well, he started first base full time.

I'm from MN and have been a fan of Doug since I first saw him play.

I'm from MA and I became a fan of Doug's this year. I saw him play against the Sox (obviously when he was with the Twins), and there was something about him that caught my attention. Maybe it was his eyes (cause there's something about them that steals my heart), maybe it wasn't. All I know is I'm glad he's a Sox. :)

I've just started liking him. I noticed him because he was on the red sox, but i dont like him because he's on the red sox, but it helps, there are a lot of people who i dislike on the red sox...mirabelli...cough cough haha sorry i'm just a huge tek fan :p

I'm a huge twins fan. and have always loved the sox. I've been following doug for the past 2 or 3 years. My walls are filled with Doug stuff and one of the first things I did when I found out he got traded was go to the Twins pro shop and buy anything there was to buy (that I didn't already have) of Doug. My friend and I probably collectivly own everything from that store. haha.
but I just went out to the Minnetonka store and they have so much more stuff!! it was AMAZING!!
I would highly recommend anyone from here who has not gone to that store.. go there asap. its so cool.

I've been a Twins fan for such a long time. Born and raised a Twins fan. What really caught my attention about Doug was his defense. He's so quick and has great reflexes. Okay, who am I kidding? The first thing that caught my eye was how cute he was! Lol! But really, he's evolved into this all around great player. He won't hit homeruns, but he'll hit line drives. He's an all around fantastic player.
