Venting about various things.
Avengers 2 trailer: I keep reading media reporting that they are definitely doing Civil Wars and I don't even read the damn comics but people who I know who have tell me this is the worst idea in the history of things and I'm clinging to the Russo brothers saying they're not doing it. But it's injected a drop of poison into my anticipation of A2 and Cap 3.
Arrow: I've tried so hard, you guys. I'm well aware of the way female fans tend to react to female characters, and I've tried so hard to not be that person, but no matter how hard I try? I just don't like Laurel. And this current season is making it worse. Last season I was at least rooting for her to figure out she was right about Blood and all. This season I'd happily watch Laurel die several times over to get Sara back. (I'm also confused about the theory that Malcolm killed Sara. I don't see a reason for him to do that. Malcolm is a good bad guy in that he generally has reasons for doing shit, horrible though they may be.)
Flipside, there are no words for how much I love Felicity walking away from Oliver at the end of the first episode. YOU GO GIRL. I was thinking all summer as they were hinting at this that Oliver is nowhere near mature or ready enough for that relationship and turns out, the writers agreed with me. :) New CEO dude is clearly evil, though, right? Creepy stalking fucker.
I'm enjoying The Flash. Not liking Iris though. She's got a Laurel vibe about her that is putting me off. The other woman started to thaw out a bit this past week. Also could the bad guy/Ed/whatever his name is be creepier? Yikes.
One note to the producers of both shows: women do not actually wear heels like that 24x7. Knock it off.
Once Upon A Time: there really are no words for how much I dislike Gold. My only hope now is that they're moving him back into just being a villain instead of everybody's poor woobie. I'm still kind of rooting for Regina, though, just because Robin there is hot. I'm surprised that I like the plot of her and Henry having their own secret mission together. I'm also getting sucked into Emma/Hook against my will. Send help fic.
Agents of SHIELD: I don't think I can keep going with this show. I obligation watched the first three episodes and I'm hating pretty much everything that isn't May and Tripp. I still hate Skye. Coulson is depressing. Fitz is depressing. Simmons is depressing. The bad guy is like a terrible caricature. The entire premise is bull - how is Hydra just roaming around at full power after being outed to the whole world? I get that the dude from Heroes is supposedly chasing SHIELD but certainly other governments or parts of the government would be on Hydra's ass?
