Again, I'm forgetting to write stuff down as I read it. At least I have an excuse for not managing to read many proper long books in April, because I had so much other stuff to read as well. And all I read was for uni. Go me!
The problem with Treasure Island is the exact problem everyone else has with it. He made a good part of that stuff up, and it wasn't colonial-era like it was supposed to be for that reason.
I really liked Great Gatsby. I didn't like Gatsby, but I did like both Daisy and Jordan. Then again, I like Fitzgerald's satire of that 1920s opulence. I also like Dorian Gray, though I don't remember enough of it except that I liked it. I think the only thing I really remember about it was how he was in love with the girl who played Jessica onstage.
