Scanned in parts of a book with some more art that had such a huge impact on me as a child, I'll probably never forget it ( Read more... )

I can ask my friend, Peter, if he can read the title page. He moved over here pretty early, so I don't know.

Cool illustrations, though. Maybe I could scan some of my kids books, if I can find them.

The title page gives the name of the author and the title "fairy tales" - there's a duplicate in Russian. I just can't read it myself, so I'm not sure if it's really Armenian, or some other language.

You should :) I love to see what kind of illustrations other people liked!

I'm trying to find more, but for the most part I find myself disenchanted with my old books - in most of them the illustrations really aren't all that good, or the quality of the printing isn't... I liked them well enough when I was little, but then I didn't really look at them critically then.

Should you come anywhere near books with good illustrations and feel like sharing, they'll be always welcome here ;)

Yeah, I think so. I'm maybe going to scan some more from other books first, though.
