Canada!I wonder if that would help in crossing the Canadian border as well... The last time we went though customs it was a bitch-and-a-half (See sarcasm below). The US customs people told us to get Passports. Urmmmm... Passport. To go to CANADA. Maybe that'll keep our vehicle from being searched ( Read more... )

Yeah, when I went to Canada I ended up taking my passport just in case and just ended up using it as ID the whole time. It really ended up just being easier that way. Plus, I figured I'd paid so much for it a couple years ago to go to Europe that I might as well at least attempt to get some use out of it.

Oh, but let's talk about how my friend (who was born and raised in the United States) had to get fingerprinted and photographed like foreign travelers do upon his last entry into the US. Because for some strange reason they saw him as a possible threat and wouldn't listen to him even when he told them he was a citizen of this country and showed them proof.
