Hey-a! I'm happy! I got some comments on my last tut! YAY!~ Plus, I joined a community! YEAH! So here's yet another icon coloring tut....One my favs, really. Hope you like it! ^^
Icon Coloring Tutorial Numbah Two
From this:
to
1. Open up a new image.
2. Create a new layer and fill it with #002035. Set it to Difference and 37%.
3. Create yet another fill layer and fill it with #FF0000. Set it to Screen, 18%.
4. Create a new Selective Color layer.
Reds: +15, +17, +12, -15
Yellows: +18, 0, 0, 0
Whites: -100, -50, 0, -50
5. Create a new Brightness/Contrast layer
Brightness: +11
Contrast: +10
6. Create another fill layer. Fill it with #2C0000. Set it to Exclusion, 26%.
7. You must be tired of fill layers by now! But sorry, here’s another one! Fill it with #8A6B6B (Overlay, 25%)
8. And again, here’s another fill layer! For the nth time, I bet! Fill the layer with #DE0360 to Lighten, 19%.
9. Duplicate the base layer and drag it to the top. Set this to Normal, 17%.
10. The last of the many fill layers! Fill it with #DE0360 (Exclusion, 21%)]
11. TA DAA! Feel free to tamper with the settings! It depends on your tastes and image!
