It's been a while since I've updated. I thought about the infrequent updates of my journal, and I decided that having infrequent Russta-style updates is far better than my Livejournal being updated nearly every single day with random boring details of the daily boredom of Mifaco

I propose you being the first SMN ever to get to 75 with 0 Summoning Magic skill.

I've leveled SMN to 75 without main healing with just few exceptions (like a 4 melee/nin party with BRD), it is much easier to do than playing a BRD without Military Harp and Nursemaid, and Ebony...

COR is {Princes}? orz
COR's buffs are weaker than BRD's and by weaker I mean they are like Fenrir's buffs, COR's are making their own parties on Ifrit. Basically if they are not casting Corsair's Roll and Evoker's Roll they are leeching exp.

Corsair's Roll is shitty, and BRDs can't give you Double Attack or Critical hit rate increase, nor an hMP+ roll, which is LIGHT-YEARS better than Ballad I.

Let's also not neglect the Magic Atk+ Bonus roll.

Corsair's roll is the best one they have unfortunately, as for double attack and crit - yes, they increase something, a parser may even show it to you. Is it really something to look forward for? Nopes. +hmp? lol. Magic Atk - proably good for a BLM party, replace one BLM with a COR for this? lol.

Corsair's Roll is hardly worth it. You get better bonuses from the unique buffs (which generally are better than just having some stupid repeats of BRD buffs, especially if you already have a BRD in the PT), and I sincerely doubt you have any knowledge of a mage job if you doubt the awesome benefits of an hMP+ buff.

Blu or Cor imo.

Cor is up there as a princess job as you call it and outside bullets would be a no brainer.

Blu is more or less free gearwise outside of some acc gear which your monk probably already has, but its a pain in the ass to go learn spells.

Kind of a tossup really.

I think if you leveled Dragoon to 75, I could convince the rest of the linkshell to finance your gear/food expenses.
