Regardless of the outcome of the game, for the past 19 weeks I've been entertained, and that, more than anything else is their job.
The argument that it could have been more entertaining had they won doesn't hold water because the game itself is over. its ability to entertain has passed in the same manner as a rainstorm.
Moreover to say "they let us down" is also a false statement. To say that is to say their success is somehow a reflection on us or that they owe us some kind of promise. The success or failure of the team is only a reflection of those that played the game. To say otherwise is to attempt to be prideful of excellence that is not your own1.
