so I'm doing a lab rotation. I should not still be doing lab rotations this far into my program. if this PI doesn't want to take me on I have basically no place else to go.

i can feel myself starting to get depressed but i don't know what to do about it

I've been reading some books, like "The Magic of Thinking Big" and what have you, apparently you're supposed to make yourself indispensable. Just, kinda, do that, huh? Be all like, what is it gonna take to put you in this car TODAY? Only with job duties instead of automobiles. Reading the book or something like it might help some.
