That's what makes the statement strangely alluring.

In other unrelated news:
I figure that they just "fixed" the spacebar and returned the old keyboard (the new one she bought disappeared). And their "fix" isn't working so great right about now.....

That *AND* a busted down arrow - I'm in keyboard hell!!

As a person who's forced to use excel and access quite a bit lately, the loss of a down arrow is incredibly horrible (as I use the number pad for numbers - as any sane person would)

And as a talker/typer the loss of the spacebar is INCREDIBLY annoying (as I had already made known).

Why couldn't they just let me keep the new keyboard?!?

I agree. Bottle of pepsi...pour right down there. set it aside and let is dry. Then rinse it well with water (don't want to leave all the sugar behind as proof. The out on your most innocent expression and claim to have no idea why it is not working. Voilla!

Or just steal a new one from Radio Shack :)
