Yeah, I gave up vinyl shower curtains about 2 years ago after reading about the hazards of vinyl. I just use a fabric one w/o a liner and it works just fine. Those vinyl ones smell bad when they are new and I always hated throwing them into the garbage, anyway... So it's not so bad!
