Magic wands are overrated.

Honestly, everyone has a talisman of some kind, but if I've learned anything since coming here it's that I'm a stronger magician for learning to do magic without them.

On another subject: "modern" music -- I assume a large majority of you are from times similar to the ones explored on the pub jukebox, so it is to them I ask

Wands provide focus. Maybe you just aren't meant to use one. You aren't a wizard, you're a bloody sorcerer or whatever you are.

Are things that frustrating? I'm not certain getting up the nose of every wand-dependent magician is the best way of dealing with this. There are a lot more of them then there are of you, and at least two of them are evil in the insane and aggressive sort of way.
