maybe in the future the amount of content is going to be so huge that it's not possible for anyone to browse everything. so someone will come out with an AI system that will publish selective content to you according to the items you always read or if you have indicated that you like it etc...
so when different people browse the same set of content, everyone will see a different subset of the same content pool

this is similar to the Top feeds by Facebook when they preselect posts that they think you like mah

top feeds are just entries that got the most likes and comments...
not catered to individual preferences

within the same set of content, there are 'operas' and 'hiphop', the popular content will be hiphop, or worse, the thrashy music because they are easier to digest and more entertaining.'Operas' and 'Ballads' will then become outdated and catered to only a small group and slowly die out or become very little. Your AI system will not select only 'ballads' because there are too much of the thrash around. Amount of meaning in the content becomes so miniscule that it will often get drowned out by the thrash, and we will miss out what is going on in our friends' life.
